Intruder
Alert
There can be no let up to my day
I brush and clean in an phobic way
Every crumb must be under control
Vigilant, I am on constant patrol,
Nothing must be out of place,
Of waste, there can be no trace.
No I’m not obsessive-compulsive
But some events I find repulsive
Reason for my excessive display
Cause of a hand attached to spray
Aftermath of misuse of my house
Caught sight of an uninvited mouse.
