There comes a time in your life when.....

every second appears to last an eternity.

Hammers in your heart reverberate frenziedly,

and quiver through your petrified body,

Numb brain stricken, throat tightens,

Fear takes complete control of your soul.

You don’t own those legs that shake violently.

When that moment comes.....

Tremble.

There comes a time in your life when.....

every moment appears to last an eternity.

Drums in your heart echo wildly.

Mouth opens to speak; out of the blue a stutter.

Search like mad into the mind to voice a wisecrack,

Brain adversely turned into a sticky substance.

A ridiculous smile sits sloppily over your face.

When that moment comes....

indulge

There comes a time in your life when.....

every minute appears to last an eternity.

Beats of your heart resound uncontrollably.

Eyes feast upon a magnificent spectacle to die for.

Regret that you’re not an artist, a maestro supreme.

Try frantically to capture the vision forever,

Recognize that no camera could that beauty capture.

When that moment comes.....
